Maintain and, where needed, improve the quality of governance of the Council of Management. The charity complies with the Code of Governance prepared for voluntary and community organizations by: Charity Trustee Networks, The Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations, The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, The National Council for Voluntary Organisations and the Charity Commission; and endorsed by The National Hub of Expertise in Governance.
Service Delivery
Continue to be the first choice provider of home security services in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The charity seeks to embed a culture of self-critical evaluation and continuous improvement at all levels of activity and across all functions.
Development
Develop the charity and company as a centre of excellence for matters relating to the provision of home security in the British Isles. The charity seeks to develop new projects consistent with the mission and to continue its positive and open approach to partnership and collaborative work.
Business Efficiency and Risk Management
Preserve a sound basis for financial health. The charity continues to seek new ways of working that provide better and more cost effective services.
Human Resources
Develop best practice in the recruitment, development and reward of staff and volunteers, taking into consideration employment law, equality of opportunity and performance management. The charity is committed to the fair treatment of its staff, volunteers, potential staff, stakeholders and users of its services regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, responsibilities for dependants, age, physical or mental disability.
